I provide quality legal services in the Mt. Pleasant, and throughout the State of Michigan in the areas of personal injury & family law.

I have been representing injured people and their families for over 20 years. A graduate of the University of North Carolina (Greensboro) School of Nursing in 1979, I began working with people with brain injuries and other neurological problems at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Durham, North Carolina immediately after graduation.

During the next 13 years, I developed my skills in the nursing profession, acquiring a practical knowledge that only first-hand experience in the medical profession can provide. My emphasis during those years also included pediatrics (including pediatric intensive care certification). But it was my skills and knowledge acquired in the neuroscience field that reveals my commitment to head injury and spinal cord injury victims… literally decades before the same victims began to be served by others in the legal profession.

Desiring to serve victims on a deeper level, I finished law school at Wake Forest University in 1993 (with both faculty and academic recognition) and immediately began working with a prominent law firm in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, and then for another Mt. Pleasant law firm. Through several jury trials, (including medical malpractice and numerous personal injury trials) I have fine-tuned my skills to represent a vast array of injured clients. Later, I established my own firm to continue to fight for the rights of injured people and their families.

I have won millions of dollars for injured victims during the last decade. My last personal injury jury trial resulted in one of the largest jury verdicts in the history of Isabella County. Although I cannot guarantee your results will be as favorable, you can expect my medical experience to be working hard on your side to gain the best results for you.

In addition to the Personal Injury aspects of the firm, I represent clients in all areas of Family Law.
